Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Sunday and weekend!
Last week, I was fortunate enough to travel out of the state to Puerto Rico with my sisters and the rest of her bridesmaids. It was a very soothing and much needed trip, after all of the stress I have acquired since the beginning of the year.
I enjoy traveling and I always urge people, if you have the money, you should definitely do it. You should definitely see the world. There's more to life than the small town you live in. Plus, you get to see God's creations. It's beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
It was peaceful. Yes, I am definitely those people who take in all of the world and the scenery when I travel. I 100% believe that traveling and vacations are a good boosts of your mental health. Not only does it take away from your current stressors, it can improve your brain function and boost your creativity. Learn other benefits of travel here.
So, go out there, travel, explore new places, if money allows it.
However, remember that traveling is not a replacement for therapy. Please seek help from a mental health specialist.
I will share some pictures that I took from the trip if you care to see!
Lastly, I want to put a close to the Mental Health Awareness posts for this month, but I want you guys to know that mental illnesses are still very common in the United States and that 1 in 5 adults live with it. It is especially common in ages 18-25.
I want you to remember that you matter. You are important, and it is vital to speak to someone. Please, do not go through this alone. I love you all so much. See you next time.
